Attorney Wright has been active in the criminal justice system in Maine since 2001. During law school Attorney Wright interned after his first year with Maine Pretrial Services, a bail project available throughout the state.  After his second year of law school Attorney Wright  was employed as a student intern attorney with the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.  In this position Attorney Wright was able to prosecute misdemeanor crimes while still a law school student.  Attorney Wright  was employed  for approximately two years in the Maine State Senate as an Aide to the Senate Majority Leader.  After leaving the legislative branch, Attorney Wright accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney in District IV, the mid-coast of Maine.  During the ten years Attorney Wright was a prosecutor for the State he prosecuted thousands of criminal and civil cases and represented the State in hundreds of jury and judge trials. Attorney Wright successfully prosecuted cases dealing with Arson charges, Gross Sexual Assaults, Aggravated Assaults, Trafficking in Drugs Cases, OUI prosecutions, Assaults, Domestic Violence Assaults, Thefts, Burglaries, Robberies, Operating After Revocations, Trafficking in Prison Contraband, Vehicular Manslaughter, Animal abuse cases, Possession of Scheduled Drugs, Post Conviction Reviews, Appellate work, motion practices, and every type of misdemeanor and civil violation imaginable in Maine. In short, as the resident prosecutor in Lincoln County, Attorney Wright has been there and done that.
